1958 NOTIFICATION SLIP OF CHANGE OF ADDRESS FROM CANBERRA TO MELBOURNE FOR THE INDUSTRIAL DESIGN COUNCIL OF AUSTRALIA

The Director, Colin Barrie and Administrative Officer Beth Chalmers left their inaugural office at the ANU Design Unit around 1958 to the first public office for the IDCA in ICI House, 1 Nicholson St. Melbourne – the first of Melbourne’s ‘skyscrapers’ by courtesy of Sir Archie Glenn, Managing Director of ICI and founder member of the first Council of the IDCA.
