1965 INVITATION TO THE OPENING OF THE ROYAL AUSTRALIAN MINT, CANBERRA BY HRH THE PRINCE PHILIP, DUKE OF EDINBURGH

Front cover of the proceedings folder

The Royal Australian Mint did not have a Design Unit so Sir Leslie Melville volunteered the services of Fred and myself. Fred did some of the exhibition stands inside and I did the graphic design work as well as a presentation decimal coin box in walnut for HRH described under DFW Miscellaneous designs. The box was made by Hans Pillig who worked in our Design Unit office.
