My underlying motivation in joining TAD in 1979 and initiating TADACT was to ensure that the principles of design could be applied to the design and production of the best possible disability aids. From the very beginning I applied the same philosophy to any publicity material that we produced up to when I stepped down from the position of Design Coordinator in 1991.
