1964 LOGO FOR THE INSTITUTE ? OF PAPUA AND NEW GUINEA

This followed on from the commission to design the logo for the newly formed University of Papua and New Guinea through the Deputy ANU Librarian (in Jack G ?) who was a member of its interim Council.

Unfortunately I can’t remember the name of the Institute but it was something to do with science or technology – hence the gold Lissajous figure in the centre. The larger white emblem had some PNG cultural significance.
